About

Hi, I’m Racheal.

I was born and raised in Vermont but eventually migrated down to Florida, hence the name.

I started this blog to document and share my recipes and love for food. I started cooking at a young age but didn’t truly appreciate the process until I had my own kitchen. When people ask what I cook my response is usually, “anything and everything”. I love trying new places, new foods, experimenting with new flavors and trying to improve the recipes each and every time.

Luckily for me, my other passion is living a healthy lifestyle and working out. Fitness has always been a passion of mine and food & fitness go hand-in-hand. I have working towards my certification in Nutrition and I can’t wait to take what I learn and implement it into some of the recipes.

Instagram Vs. Reality 😬 Quick breakfast at @moorecoffeeseattle - somehow they knew I was a dog lover 🤍 Definitely not sleepless in Seattle, took two naps today. Weeks of feeding starter like it’s my child and today I have sourdough 🤤 everyone is getting bread for Christmas. When all your leggings are black and you can’t find your favorite ones 🥲 Are the kids still using the phrase YOLO? If not, can we bring it back like we brought back bell bottom jeans? Good Morning. I was listening to a podcast this morning about happiness and our minds. The guy said if you were looking at your inner child you would never put them in an unsafe situation. You would never lock them in a dark room that’s covered in broken glass and things that can injure them, things that may be toxic to them, things that would hurt them intentionally. So why do we spend so much time creating an unsafe environment in our own minds where we’re trapped every day? Why don’t we all focus on creating a safer, more peaceful place since we are stuck in our own minds every day? It’s actually a hard thing to think about and I think it’s because it puts the responsibility back on yourself, it makes you accountable and when there’s accountability there’s a possibility of failure and people are afraid to fail. But at the end, if you spent 15 minutes a day trying to create a safer place in your mind, you can’t fail. Control the controllables, if you have any control over your own thoughts maybe it’s something to start investing time into. Anywho, that’s the motivational talk of the day so go do great things mmkay, bye. My time lapse of the sunrise was video bombed by a dog living his best life and I don’t hate it. PB&F Sliders 🤤 Well that didn’t go as planned… I think the saying goes, “they’re laughing with you not at you.” But unfortunately, I kindly disagree. They probably are laughing at you. Oats over night are an easy meal prep idea for you oatmeal lovers. ATMOS | Ft. Lauderdale ✨Via Proxy✨ is one of the cutest, homey feeling spot in Tequesta. Locally-owned and tended by wine and food-minded people. Their tasting was amazing and the charcuterie board was a great addition to the wines selected. Cute for date night or a night out with the girls! Life is is short & so is my friend but that’s okay 🤍
